Crash on OSX El Capitan

It’s true it’s for beginners and it’s not too expensive for it’s functionality, however, even a beginner like me began to realise it’s limitiations soon enough. FF and slo mo speeds 5X max only, no batch treatment of clips, cannot add external music track (options only tracks available in software and voice recording) And last but not I worked on it for 2 sittings of about 7 hours each and it worked fine until suddenly it crashed for some unknown reason. after 3 consecutive crashes, I still haven’t managed to open it. not good :(

Where’s the video recording button?

I can’t believe you took the web camera video recording button off, this is ridiculous, please make a new update bringing that option back!

do not buy

does not work i am trying to return it but i did not even get a receipt!

Does not work properly.

1st COMMENT: I can drag my video from IPHOTOS but all the product will do is play is audio from the 1st only video and the video footage is frozen. 2nd COMMENT: The companey that makes this product e-mailed me back to let me know they have a problem with their soft were but they are working on it. They will e-mail me back with the updated vertion when it is avalible. 3rd comment: The company has not e-mailed me back so after waiting a couple of months I re-downloaded this program today (Dec. 22,2012) and it still does not work. I would not waste your money on this product. It is sad that the App store sells products that dont work and sopftwere manufactures still put products on here that dont work and seem to not care that they dont work as they still are for sale on here. Very disappointed in both parties.

dont do it

shuts down out of nowhere. doesnt save in readable format later. want my money back.

White Mouse

What a waste of time

Great Starter Video Editing Software

Okay so I’m sick and tired of people leaving reviews that don’t explain WHY they found the particular app no good, or go into detail so here we go; Overall I found this application really useful for DIY easy making for video editing. Not very complex but has enough simple features to make a nice video, allow for multiple formats and does crash or lag out or take a lot of memory space. Granted for larger videos it does take a longer time to actually process and export, but you would get that with any video editing software. Its just like iMovie BEFORE the stupid new update and I have had no problems with it and for the price you can’t really complain. I mean its no “Final cut” software, but I wasn’t looking for something that complex for simple family videos. All in all excellent app and very happy with my purchase Pros: -Easy To Use -Uses multiple different Formats -Uploads quite simply (KEEP IN MIND) when editing the audio lags PRIOR to actually exporting the whole movie, but DOES NOT LAG one exported to a finished video -Use friendly with a variety of simple tools Cons: -Limited Functions for video editing -not many options for editing

It’s okay

it edits and works. however i was searching for some features unlike other apps in store. however, download option for additional transitions does not work. extra-ordinary special effects would be great!! like what you see in music videos

I like this video editor

I’ve used the original version of Final Cut Pro, Premiere, etc. At the moment I don’t own a licence for one of the more expensive video editors. I don’t find iMovie suits my needs and workdlow. I came across Wondershare on the web and it was a bit confusing as to whether I should get the web version called Wondershare Video Editor or the App Store Video Editor 3. I emailed them and they said to buy Video Editor 3 and they would give me a licence for Wondershare Video Editor. It turned out that Wondershare Video Editor had more features than Video Editor 3. so I just used Wondershare Video Editor. But now with the update here, it appears to me that they have brought Video Editor 3 up to the feature set of Wondershare Video Editor. That’s cool. I like Video Editor 3 because its a no-muss-no-fuss editor with a workflow similar to most other video editors (except iMovie which I just dont understand). I would recommend this video editor if you are looking for one that is easy to use but allows the typical things one needs to do with video.

Get what you pay for

This program is cheap and for that it is good. It works very similarly to iMovie HD (oh, how I miss it!). But I’ve had it crash several times on me and each time it crashes it loses all of the files I had imported to make my move. I’d encourage you to have a folder of all of your material in order before starting your project so when it does crash you can import without digging around for the files you had. WORSE STILL: I opened the program up this morning without my external harddive plugged in (where some of my clips were stored) and so some of the files were missing. Filmora asked what I wanted to do. I said ignore. Typically this means that the program uses low res versions or replaces the clip with a slug until the files are found again. Nope, Filmora completely deleted the clips and saved the movie. I now have to completely rebuild my movie! LASTLY: this program has not been given the same attention as the Windows version. Mac version does not come with the same features. I want people to buy it so it gets better, but at this rate it doesn’t deserve anyones attention.

Filmora - a replacement for Video Editor 3

Replaces Wondershares Video Editor 3. Has more features and actually works on Yosemite. It was installed on my Mac and replaced VE 3 but I reinstalled VE 3 from Time Machine backup and will continue to use it. If I feel I want to add something extra to a video will then use Filmora. Wondershares video editors for the price, can produce wonderful results and are not difficult to use, the results in the end can be spectacular. Recommend…………...

I am disappointed!

Don’t buy this! I haven’t finish my first video and I’m already disappointed by this software. It shut down out of nowhere, mix up all what you’ve done…Don’t spend (waste) 80$ on this!!!

Self turning off on the Lion 10.7.x | Samoczynne wyłączanie się na Lion 10.7.x

I have this program on my two computers. On the laptop with the Mavericks, it works fine. On the desktop with Lion 10.7.x, switches off automatically whenever you start working (split a clip into two parts on timeline). Reasons not found. The computer is up to date version of Lion. Ive tested the program on a laptop and is very nice, easy and fun to use. How to amateur software has a lot of options. In my opinion this is one of the best programs in its category.

There are some issues...

Basically intended to use this for cut/merge/crop/overlay/resize/repack and audio track merge not using filters. I can somewhat use that but it’s far from being perfect. Good price though. Not possible to crop at all. For large resolution no chance to crop a small region. There is no even option to enter the start pixel. No zoom to preview the crop. If you want to apply the same crop for cut areas it is not possible. There is a frame precise cut but it is sometimes buggy in positioning. No same as source option for export resolution.

It’s Okay Video Editor App, But???

It’s a Okay Video Editor App, but there is no fading in and out for the video part of it, just only in the audio portion of it...

a go-to video editor for non-pros

I love the Filmora interface and have had very little trouble figuring out how to utilize the features. the one thing i DO NOT like is that there are two different versions: one via the mac app store and one if purchased directly from the developer. I bought it via the app store a few months ago, and there hasn’t been an update since. the developers were very helpful when i wrote to them about this, and were willing to give me a Filmora serial number so that i could get the latest versions from their site, saying that updates were more prompt on their site than from the app store. I understand that, except it’s not completely honest. from what I see, the app store version is NEVER updated, and the features you get for free if you buy it via their site are slightly pricey add-ons if you got the app via the store. i understand that developers deserve to earn a decent living, and I support them in that (though I’m unemployed for a few years now). what I cannot support are half-truths and broken promises. short story: the app is good, but as far as i can tell the developer isn’t necessarily trustworthy. sad to say it.

Pretty Cool!

This app comes with some pretty impressive features. I like the flexibility that comes with adding filters and effects (it feels like iOS) and titles. There are also some pretty handy features like chroma key or green screen, collage templates, and screen capture for your Mac. This app is well worth the investment.

Outdated

Not a bad App but I get add for free add ons in app.. I could not install any free App.. I emailed them and there response was that I should buy new version from there site

Best Video Editor for Novice

Using for only 2 days this program is fantastic. Makes movie edit pretty easy and is a great bargin for the price!

Its good for basics

I love Filmora its easy and simple to use and with so trial and error you can figure out how to do pretty much everything. Now my issue is with it constantly crashing on me! I just had to edit a video for my youtube channel, The Morning Hustle, twice which due to the size of the video took me 3 hours each time so it goes without saying that I almost went out and killed a hobo in frustration when at the very end it crashed on me. Now it did recover my work but it recovered a strange mutate of my brain child that came with squished and misplaces sections of video and strange phantom Audio coming from seemingly nowhere! overall its good lets me put out videos everyday by my deadline but caution is advised when trying some more advanced video techniques.
