Get what you pay for
This program is cheap and for that it is good. It works very similarly to iMovie HD (oh, how I miss it!). But I’ve had it crash several times on me and each time it crashes it loses all of the files I had imported to make my move. I’d encourage you to have a folder of all of your material in order before starting your project so when it does crash you can import without digging around for the files you had. WORSE STILL: I opened the program up this morning without my external harddive plugged in (where some of my clips were stored) and so some of the files were missing. Filmora asked what I wanted to do. I said ignore. Typically this means that the program uses low res versions or replaces the clip with a slug until the files are found again. Nope, Filmora completely deleted the clips and saved the movie. I now have to completely rebuild my movie! LASTLY: this program has not been given the same attention as the Windows version. Mac version does not come with the same features.
I want people to buy it so it gets better, but at this rate it doesn’t deserve anyones attention.
